Averbal warning to noma

Wizards FC owner and Technical Director Peter Mponda has fired a verbal warning to Mighty Be Forward Wanderers ahead of the two sides TNM Super League clash on Sunday to take place at Mulanje Park.
Mponda said his side has had enough punishment from Wanderers in the past two seasons and that this time around, the Nomads should not expect an easy ride.
“We have taken enough punishment from them the past two seasons as we did not get any point but this time around, something has to come up,” said Mponda.
He further challenged that his side will also be looking forward to maintain their clean sheet of not conceding any goal at the Mulanje Park Stadium since the 2017 Super League season begun.
“We haven’t conceded at Mulanje Boma Park and we don’t see ourselves conceding any time soon,” said Mponda.
The match promises to be full of fireworks as the wounded Nomads will also be looking forward to regain their form in a bid to accomplish their dream of winning the league title this season after losing 10-9 [through penalties] against Silver Strikers in the inaugural Airtel Top 8 finals last Saturday.
Wanderers Team Manager Steve Madeira openly declared that their ‘vengeance will be on Premier Bet Wizard on Sunday at Mulanje Park Stadium’ after their painfull loss to The Central Bankers.
Wizard will be looking for a win and pray that Red Lions lose to Azam Tigers so that they go top of the 16 member log table.
They are on second position with 11 points from five games just like the leaders Red Lions who are having an advantage because they have a better goal difference.
In Mzuzu, it will be a northern region derby involving Moyale Barracks and Chitipa United at the Mzuzu Stadium.
Chitipa United are yet to register a win in the elite league on their debut season after playing five games without a win.
Their best result was a 0-0 draw against giants Nyasa Big Bullets.
On the other hand, Moyale will be looking forward to bounce back after droping three points last weekend during their central region.
They managed to beat Dwangwa United on Saturday 2-1 before going down 2-0 to fellow soldiers Mafco FC.

Tnm super league

TNM Super League season, giants Mighty Be Forward Wanderers and Silver Strikers are at the bottom of the table having just played one and two games respectively following their inactivity of the league proceedings because of their full involvement in the Airtel Top 8 Cup.
The two teams reached the final of the inaugural Airtel Top 8 in which Silver won 10-9 after post-match penalties last Saturday.
Wanderers only played one match of the TNM Super League season in which they beat champions Kamuzu Barracks while Silver played two, both of which they drew. The Nomads are on position 12 while Silver Strikers are 15 of the 16-team log table.
Bitter at missing out as the first champions of a cup competition, the Nomads now focus their attention at the league title campaign, which they last won in 2006. Silver last won it consecutively in 2011-12 and 2012-13 seasons.
So, it’s catch up time for Wanderers as they take on Wizards at Mulanje Park while Silver, who ended third last season, face the league champions Kamuzu Barracks at Civo Stadium.
Wizards, who survived by a whisker last season by ending 13 , are second so far with 11 points having played five games in which they won three and drew two while Kamuzu Barracks are 10 with four points having played three games of one win, one draw and one loss.
As is usually the case there are always pace setters to the title campaign but they usually tire out as the season progresses and it remains to be seen if the current leaders Red Lions, who ended 10 last season, might keep up with their good performance in which they have 11 points—sharing with Wizards—from their five games of three wins and two draws.
The soldiers from Cobbe Barracks in Zomba, face 5 -placed Azam Tigers at Balaka Stadium.
A surprise package at the top of the table this season are Mzuzu University (Mzuni), who are third with nine points from two wins and three draws. Mzuni, who face 6 -placed Nyasa Big Bullets at Kalulu Stadium on Sunday, were 9 last season.
The Bullets, who bowed out of the Airtel Top 8 at the quarterfinal stages, have found themselves at 6 position with seven points from four games having won two, drew 1 and lost one.
On good footing, newly-promoted Masters Security are position 8 with six points from two wins and three losses and they face veterans Mafco at Dedza Stadium.
Their fellow debutantes Chitipa United are on last position 16, from five games of no win four losses and one surprise draw against Big Bullets in their opening match. They face 7 -placed Moyale at Mzuzu Stadium.
The full fixtures — all on Sunday, June 11 — are:
Nyasa Big Bullets v Mzuni FC at Kalulu Stadium
Wizards FC v Mighty Be Forward Wanderers at Mulanje Park
Red Lions v Azam Tigers at Balaka Stadium
Masters Security v Mafco at Dedza Stadium
Moyale FC v Chitipa United at Mzuzu Stadium

Blue eagles fc

Blue Eagles F.C management seeks to bang heads this week as the team has only managed one win in seven games this campaign.
In their two most recent games, the Area 30 side lost to 0-3 to Red Lions on Sunday before a 1-0 loss to Premier Bet Wizards in the topflight league.

In the league the side is on position 9 having just five points from five matches.
Their only win was in the league against rookies Master Security . They won 2-0.
The side was also a fortnight ago week booted out of the Airtel Top 8 Cup after losing to Kamuzu Barracks F.C.
The team has called for a crisis meeting which is scheduled to be held tomorrow.
Among other things the meeting is supposed to reasosn for their unpleasant start this campaign as well as raise solutions.
‘’ You may recall that the team played 7 competitive games and won only one game. This is happening at the time management (sponsor) is pouring massive financial and technical support to run the team.’’ Reads a circular notifying the Executive members and supporters who are to be present at the meeting.
The Eagles were contenders for the league last season but slipped to finish fourth having 54 points seven adrift of eventual winners Kamuzu Barracks.

In September next year the Flames will play back to back matches with Cameroon starting away then at home before traveling to Comoros.
The Flames also have the Cosafa Cup ahead of them. The tournament will be played in South Africa’s North West province from June 25-July 9, with the hosts also the defending champions after they claimed the trophy in Namibia last year.
The Flames have been drawn in Group A alongside Angola, Mauritius and Tanzania.
The Football Associton of Malawi just hired Belgian Ronny Van Geneugden to ‘restore the lost glory’ as the soccer fraternity have christened the 39 year old top task.
Egypt remains the top-ranked African team followed by Senegal, Cameroon, Nigeria, Congo DR, Tunisia, Burkina Faso, Ivory Coast, Ghana and Algeria in the top ten.
Brazil tops the world rankings, followed by Argentina, Germany, Chile, Colombia, France, Belgium, Portugal, Switzerland and 2010 FIFA World Cup champions, Spain completing the top 10.

The people team has signed forward Chiukepo

Nyasa Big Bullets are not just relenting in putting to a halt their shaky start to the campaign this year.
The Peoples Team has signed forward Chiukepo Msowoya who was in South Africa with Golden Arrows for six months. He had left Bullets with problems upfront as their strikers kept misfiring.

Msowoya has had a poor outing in the Absa Premiership.
Some of the highlights include scoring an own goal in a 2-5 defeat to Absa Premiership leaders SuperSport United on his debut and a red carded he earned in the next game against Bloemfontein Celtic.
He played 204 minutes in the 6 games he appeared for the Abafana Bes’thende.
Bullets have since signed the forward on a two year deal.
He signed the deal today in Blantyre.
Bullets ignited their drive to end a goal scoring jinx last week when they also sealed the services of striker
Nelson Kangunje who joined from Costol do Sol of Mozambique.
Bullets have only managed to score three goals in four competitive games this season.
The goals came in the fourth match. This was a league game against Civil Sporting Club last week.

There was some drama at half-time, when a Wanderers fan stepped onto the pitch with a male and female colleague and urinated on the goal post in full view of the crowd.

Wanderers’ reserve goalkeepers Valence Kamzere and Nenani Juwaya stepped onto the pitch to do warm-up exercises.

As they performed the exercises, one of the goalkeepers was seen dumping an unknown object on the goal the Moyale Barracks were to defend in the last half.

As the goalkeepers left, a Moyale fan dashed to the goal area from the stands and pulled out the unknown object.

Moments later, three Wanderers’ fans including a lady ran towards the opposite the goal area before one of them urinated on the goal post in full view of the crowd.

The three fans ran away towards the empty stands after performing their act.

Commenting on the development, Football Association of Malawi competitions manager Gomezgani Zakazaka said the association would wait for reports from the match stewart’s, the police and the match commissioner before taking the necessary measures.

“The referees did not see the incident because they were in the dressing room but we will rely on reports from the match stewarts, police and the match commissioner,” said Zakazaka.

Micium Mhone will not be involved in the first round of the TNM Super League by his Blue Eagles club after it emerged that he is not cleared by South Africa Football Association (Safa).
